BIANYS Named a 2026 Top Trade Association by City & State
The Business Incubator Association of New York State (BIANYS) has been named one of City & State New York’s 2026 Top Trade Associations. The annual list recognizes organizations that represent their members through advocacy, education, networking, and economic development.
The feature highlights BIANYS’s 20 years of connecting the incubators and accelerators that help New York startups grow. Today, the association represents more than 100 member organizations, including incubators, accelerators, university innovation centers, coworking spaces, and makerspaces across the state.
Ariella Trotsenko, BIANYS Interim Executive Director, was featured in the print magazine and online edition. She also attended the August 11 recognition reception at Fifty Four NYC, joined by BIANYS Board Director Deborah Novick of Westchester County.
In the feature, BIANYS pointed to its 20th Annual Meeting in Albany as a recent milestone. The three-day gathering brought together leaders from across New York’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and introduced the association’s first Albany Incubator Bus Tour and annual awards.
“We’re proud to see the work of New York’s incubators and accelerators recognized alongside organizations representing so many of the state’s industries,” said Trotsenko. “This recognition belongs to our members, whose work gives entrepreneurs the connections, guidance, and space to build and grow here in New York.”
